If you forgot your password, follow these steps:
- Go to the Login Screen: On the login screen, look for the “Forgot Password” option.
- Click on “Forgot Password”: Click this option to begin the password reset process.
- Follow the Reset Instructions: Follow the instructions to reset your password and regain access to your account. By using the “Forgot Password” option on the login screen, you can easily reset your password.
To reset your password, follow these steps:
- Click on “Forgot Password”: On the login page, click the “Forgot Password” link.
- Enter Your Email Address: Enter the email address associated with your Propel account.
- Receive Reset Password Link: You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
- Set New Password: Click the link in the email, and you will be redirected to a screen where you can set a new password. By following these steps, you can easily reset your password and regain access to your Propel account.
If you didn’t receive a verification code via email, follow these steps:
- Check Your Inbox: The verification code is usually sent to your inbox.
- Check Your Spam Folder: If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
- Contact Support: If you still haven’t received the verification code, please contact our support team for assistance. You can reach us at [support email/phone number].

Step 1 – Set Up Your Review Widget Our unique Review Widget pulls in reviews from multiple platforms and looks fantastic on your website:
- Create Your Widget: Head to this [URL] to create your widget.
- Instructions: Click the question mark icon for step-by-step instructions.
- Watch the Video: [Watch this video] to see how to configure it on your site.
Step 2 – Customize Your Review Request Templates (Email and SMS)
- Visit the Template Section: Navigate to the Template section to view your Review Request Templates.
- Edit Templates: Edit the templates by uploading your desired banner image and changing the text to match your brand style.
Step 3 – Effortlessly Request Reviews
- Visit Reviews Management: Request reviews by visiting the Reviews Management section.
- Review Request Options: Click on Review Request, and you’ll find two different options:
- Bulk CSV Upload: Use this option to send review requests to all your past customers. This will help you quickly grow the number of reviews.
- Individual Review Request: Use this option to send review requests to one customer at a time.
- Automated Review Requests: To set up automated review requests, go to the Settings section for integration with your preferred billing/ scheduling/ estimating/ business management software. Follow the instructions provided to complete the setup.
Step 4 – Stay Informed with insightful communications:
- Weekly Summary Emails: Every week, receive a summary email highlighting key insights from the previous week. Stay on top of trends and performance effortlessly.
Instant Review Notifications: Get notified as soon as a new review is received. Best practices suggest responding to all reviews promptly. With Propel’s IntelliAssist, responding to reviews is transformed from a chore into an opportunity. This AI-driven feature crafts personalized responses, enabling you to address feedback efficiently while maintaining an authentic connection with your clients.
To change the default data range from 30 days to 3 or 6 months on the dashboard:
- Locate the Data Range Dropdown: On the Reviews dashboard, find the dropdown menu that currently shows “30 days.” This is usually located near the top of the dashboard.
- Click the Dropdown Menu: Click on this dropdown menu to open a list of available data ranges.
- Select Desired Data Range: Choose either “3 months” or “6 months” from the dropdown options. By following these steps, you can easily adjust the visible data range to better analyze your review trends over a longer period.

You have two choices to request reviews in the Review Management section:
- Review Request from Individual Client To send a review request to a single client, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Customers Section: Go to the Customers section.
- Select/Add Customer: Either select an existing customer from the list or click “ADD” to add a new customer.
- Fill in Customer Details: Enter the customer’s details including Name, Email, Phone, and Address.
- Select Review Request Method: Choose the method to send the review request (Email, SMS, or WhatsApp).
- Submit Request: Click “Submit” to send the review request to the customer.
- Upload Bulk CSV for Multiple Review Requests To send review requests to multiple clients using a bulk CSV upload, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Upload Section: In the Review Management section, look for the option to upload customer data.
- Download Sample File: Click on “Download Sample File” to get the required CSV format.
- Prepare CSV File: Fill out the CSV file with your customers’ details following the same format as the sample file.
- Upload CSV File: Click “Choose File” to select your prepared CSV file.
- Select Review Request Methods: Choose the methods for sending the review requests (Email, SMS, or WhatsApp).
- Set Reminder (Optional): Optionally, you can set reminders for the review requests.
- Upload CSV: Click “Upload CSV” to send the review requests to all the clients listed in the file.
To embed Propel widget on your business website, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Widgets Section: Go to the Widgets section in the Propel dashboard.
- Click “Create Widget”: Start the widget creation process by clicking the “Create Widget” button.
- Enter Widget Details:
- Widget Name: Enter a name for your widget.
- Domain Name: Enter the domain name where the widget will be used.
- Platform: Select the platform from which the reviews will be pulled.
- Follow the Setup Steps:
- Step 1: Connect Platform: Connect the platform by entering the necessary credentials or API keys.
- Step 2: Select Design: Choose a design for your widget from the available templates.
- Step 3: Setup Widget: Configure the widget settings to match your website’s style and requirements.
- Step 4: Insert Code: Copy the provided code and insert it into your website’s HTML where you want the widget to appear.
- Use the Help Icon: If you need additional help, click the question mark (?) icon on the right side. This will provide you with the URL of a demo video that walks you through the widget creation process. By following these steps, you can create and configure a new widget to display reviews on your website.
To add multiple platforms to your widget, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Widgets Section: Go to the Widgets section in the Propel dashboard.
- Start Creating a Widget: Click “Create Widget” to begin the process.
- Enter Initial Widget Details:
- Widget Name: Enter a name for your widget.
- Domain Name: Enter the domain name where the widget will be used.
- Platform: Select the first platform from which the reviews will be pulled.
- Add Additional Platforms:
- Click the Plus Icon (+): Next to the “Platform” dropdown, click the plus (+) icon to add another review platform.
- Select Additional Platforms: Choose the additional platforms from the dropdown menus. Repeat this step as needed to add more platforms.
- Follow the Remaining Setup Steps:
- Step 1: Connect Platforms: Connect each platform by entering the necessary credentials or API keys.
- Step 2: Select Design: Choose a design for your widget from the available templates.
- Step 3: Setup Widget: Configure the widget settings to match your website’s style and requirements.
- Step 4: Insert Code: Copy the provided code and insert it into your website’s HTML where you want the widget to appear. By following these steps and using the plus (+) icon, you can add multiple review platforms to your widget and display reviews from various sources on your website.
To show only reviews above a particular rating and set the order of the reviews, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Setup Widget Step: After connecting your platform and selecting a design, proceed to the “Setup Widget” step.
- Filter Your Ratings:
- In the “Filter Your Ratings” dropdown, select the minimum rating you want to display in your widget. For example, you can choose “Minimum 3 stars” to show reviews with at least 3-star ratings or “Minimum 4 stars” to show only 4-star and above reviews.
- Select Order By:
- In the “Select Order By” dropdown, choose how you want the reviews to be ordered. You can select “Descending” to show the most recent or highest-rated reviews first, or “Ascending” to show the oldest or lowest-rated reviews first.
- Include Propel Feedback (Optional): Toggle the switch if you want to include feedback collected directly through Propel.
- Recent Review Popup (Optional): Toggle the switch if you want to enable a recent review popup feature on your widget.
- Proceed to Insert Code: Once you have configured these settings, click “Next” to proceed to the final step where you will receive the code to insert into your website. By following these steps, you can filter the reviews displayed in your widget according to a minimum rating and order them as per your preference, ensuring that only the most relevant and high-quality feedback is showcased.
To change the location in Propel, follow these steps:
- Locate the Location Dropdown: On the top right corner of the Propel dashboard, you will see a dropdown menu labeled “Location.”
- Click the Location Dropdown: Click on this dropdown menu to open the list of available locations.
- Select Your Desired Location: Choose the location you want to switch to from the list. By following these steps, you can easily change the location within the Propel platform to manage reviews and settings for different branches or offices.
To customize the review request templates for SMS and email, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Template Section: Go to the Template section in the Propel dashboard.
- Select the Type of Template: Choose either the “EMAIL” or “SMS” tab based on the template you want to customize.
- View and Edit Templates:
- For Email Templates:
- Click on “View Template” under “Review Request” or “Review Reminder Request” to view the template.
- Edit the subject line and body text as needed. You can use placeholders like {{COMPANY_NAME}} to personalize the messages.
- Add/Edit Images: You can also upload and add images to the email template to align with your brand’s visual identity.
- For SMS Templates:
- Click on “View Template” under the relevant SMS template to view and edit the content.
- For Email Templates:
- Save Changes: After making your changes, save the template to ensure that your customized message is used for future review requests. By following these steps, you can tailor your review request templates to better match your branding and communication style for both SMS and email, including adding images to your email templates.
To change your subscription plan in Propel, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Plan Upgrade Section: Go to the “Plan Upgrade” section in the left-hand menu of the Propel dashboard.
- Select the New Plan: Review the available plans. For example, you might see options like “Standard” for $50/month and “Premium” for $199/month.
- Choose the Billing Cycle: Select whether you want to switch to a monthly or yearly billing cycle.
- Click on the Desired Plan: Click on the plan you want to upgrade to. This will typically take you to a confirmation screen.
- Confirm the Change: Follow the prompts to confirm the change in your subscription plan. This may involve entering payment details if necessary. By following these steps, you can easily upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan to better meet your needs.
To import your customer contacts into Propel, follow these steps:
- Manually Add Contacts: You can manually add contacts to your list by entering the contact details individually in the “Customers” section.
- Upload a Bulk CSV File:
- Prepare a CSV file with your contact details.
- Go to the “Import Contacts” section and click “Upload CSV” to select and upload your file.
- Initiate Review Requests: Once your contacts are imported, you can initiate the sending of your review requests.
- Send Review Requests: Send review requests via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp using the imported contacts. By following these steps, you can smoothly import your customer contacts into Propel and set the stage for impactful review outreach.
To integrate Propel with other platforms such as QuickBooks, Stripe, or Google, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Settings Section: Go to the “Settings” section in the left-hand menu of the Propel dashboard.
- Select the Integration: Choose the integration you want to set up from the list. For example, you can select “QuickBooks Integration,” “Stripe Integration,” “Google Integration,” etc.
- Click on the Integration: Click on the specific integration you want to connect. For instance, if you choose “QuickBooks Integration,” you’ll see a screen with an option to “Connect to QuickBooks.”
- Follow the Instructions: Click the “Connect” button and follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your account and authorize the integration. This usually involves entering your credentials and granting permission for Propel to access your data.
- Complete the Setup: Once connected, Propel will automatically sync with the selected platform, importing necessary data like customer name, email ID, and contact number to send review requests. By following these steps, you can easily integrate Propel with various platforms to automate review requests.
